Cal did some trade work for a little 60 kitty cat snowmobile. When he brought it home Addie was so excited that she couldn't wait to ride it. So Cal started it up. At first he tried to ride with her until she knocked him off and he got road rash. Then he let her ride on the grass from the back to the front. She absolutely loved it. This is going to be big hit around the neighborhood when the snow flies.

No training wheels
Addie stayed at grandpa and grandma's last weekend because I was over a big craft day and Cal was out of town. While there she learned how to ride a bike without training wheels and she is only 3 1/2 years old. I do need to add that this bike had a flat tire and she wasn't wearing any shoes, helmet, and was in a swimming suit. But since then she has learned that shoes, a helmet and clothes are a good idea. She feels like a big girl now (like the other girls in the circle) and just loves to ride her bike that she has learned how to open the garage door.
Improving
Over the last month we have been working to improve our house. From adding cabinets in the laundry room, crown molding in the kitchen and fencing our yard. We have lived in our house for 8 years and it has taken us this long to make some bid improvements to the house.

Swimming Lessons
Addie loves the water and has no fear when she is near it. We wanted to teach her how to swim. She loved it! Her favorite things to do was put her head under the water, jump in and play time on the last day of lessons. She passed off a few things in wave 3 but not enough to move to the next level, but this was her first lesson.

| Waiting at Founders Park, Syracuse for the next egg hunt of the day |
We went to the Syracuse City Easter Egg hunt. Addie started off really strong, then she looked back at us and she saw the Easter bunny behind me. She started screaming and it took us a little while to get her to calm down. By that time everything was over. She did get about 7 eggs. When she calmed down we went over and looked at the fire trucks. She got to sit inside, which she loved and didn't want to get out. We also went inside the ambulance. (Throw candies as Addie calls them, because they throw candy when you go to parades) |
